"TENPYO SAI " , a new annual spring festival in Nara to commemorate the Tenpyo era, or Nara period (8th century) when Nara was the capital of Japan is coming soon!
These women are dressed in Tenpyo style costume. To my surprise, they were not the ones who joined the Tenpyo parade, they were purely citizens who enjoy the style with their own creativity. All the small and big items from head to toes were hand-made by them! Just like Anime's Cosplay (to dress in a costume as a character in manga (comic/ ). OMG!! Beautiful jobs!!
